Yoni Steam Herbs 1 Pack (0.5 Oz.)
Yoni steaming is an ancient practice of lightly permeating the outside vaginal area with steam using organic herbs. This helps alleviate bloating, cramping and other symptoms of the moon cycle. The plant oils are healing and carried to the vaginal area from the steam. This is good for women who may experience vaginal dryness.
There was a point in time where I used douches and took a lot of sit down baths but always experienced yeast infections as I got older. I had to stop using tampons in my early 30’s because they gave me infections, and I couldn’t even use commercial soaps. My GYN told me to quit the sit down baths and the douches and that helped tremendously. I’m just super sensitive down there. I heard so much about this practice and gathered herbs I knew would be of benefit to my body.
Other benefits include relief from hemorrhoids, yeast and BV infections, detoxing the womb and releasing toxins from the body.
As a woman who is in the peri-menopausal stage, I can certainly testify that after months of yoni steaming this helps so much with bloating and cramping, especially when coupled with drinking 1/2 to a gallon of water a day. I only steam once, sometimes twice a month.
My choice of herbs are below and included in all packs.
Rosemary, Lavender, St John’s Wort, Rosebuds, Calendula Petals
I recommend starting off with steaming for 5-10 minutes, but please be careful not to scald yourself. Remember, too much of anything is not good. Everything doesn’t work for everyone. If you’re a yoni steaming veteran, awesome. If you’re just starting out with this practice, I advise you to do some research. Hopefully, since you’re here you know a little something about yoni steaming.
I also advise you check with your healthcare practitioner if you are new to this.
How To Use:
Always use boiled distilled water. Pour water over the herbs or steam herbs in water over stove. Transfer water and herbs into sitz bath, a clean bowl or one of those yoni chairs. I’m sorry, I don’t sell those.....yet. But I’m sure you’ll find something in your home you can use.
* Women who are pregnant or nursing definitely should not practice this method. *
These herbs are also good for steaming your hair. If you have a hair steamer, boil the herbs With distilled water. When it cools, spray hair. Sit beneath steamer for 20 min or so. This is a game changer for those who have a difficult time with keeping hair moisturizer and pliable. Steaming has helped tremendously in keeping my Locs moisturized, And I spritz every few days with a combination of essential oils and rose 🌹 water ( coming soon) I have no build up in my Locs. Herbal treatments aren’t just for women, men have trouble maintaining moisture levels in their hair and skin too! So be sure to pick up an extra pack for BAE!❤️❤️
